Overview
Royston and Jo Davis bought Cilpost Farmhouse in November 2023, a beautiful 17th century property close to the Pembrokeshire border.
The farmhouse comfortably sleeps up to 24 adults across 9 bedrooms (inc two sofa beds), as well as space for two babies. It's the perfect getaway for families, corporate retreats and hobby groups looking for an easily accessible but rural Welsh escape.
The house, games room and indoor swimming pool (heated to ~32°C all year round) are situated in grounds of ~2 acres that slope gently down through a woodland area to a small stream, the perfect place to bond and recharge.

Sleeping Arrangements
Property Details
Swimming Pool - Situated in a large conservatory next to the main house, with shower room and loo. The pool is heated in an environmentally friendly way throughout the year to a very pleasant 31-33°C. Floats & pool toys are available.
Games Room - Separate building adjacent to the main house which contains table tennis, a pool/air hockey table & large Connect4.
Large Kitchen - Well equipped with Rangemaster cooker, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer. Seating for 8 adults plus a couple on the sofa. American style height fridge and freezer and a second smaller fridge.
Double Dining Room - Seating for at least 20 adults simultaneously, with the two rooms joined by a feature stone arch.
Two Living Rooms - Copious seating for all guests. One lounge has a large inglenook fireplace, whereas the other contains a smart TV.
Third Lounge/Play Room - Adjacent to the main living rooms. Stocked with games and toys for children, a TV with FreeSat satellite connection and DVD player and a changing table for our smallest guests.
Bedrooms - 9 bedrooms (all upstairs), of which three have ensuite bathrooms with shower over bath and two have ensuite shower rooms. Bedrooms 1 and 7 have sofa beds. There is also a family bathroom upstairs .
Additional - Utility room with a second dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer and two WCs on the ground floor.
There's also a drying room, perfect for drying off wet towels and swimmers after a dip in the pool.
WiFi - There is wireless internet access throughout the house and some of the grounds. Typical speeds of 10-12Mbps, sufficient for HD video streaming - the best available in rural Wales!
Guest access
The entire farmhouse, pool, games room and surrounding grounds are for your exclusive use. Enter Cilpost Farm Guest House into Google Maps to find your way here. Don't rely on the postcode unless you want to end up in a field!
Children should be fully supervised whilst on the premises, especially by the swimming pool (which is in a lockable building separate from the farmhouse) and the stream at the bottom of the woodland area. We can accept no responsibility for the safety of guests whilst using the facilities at Cilpost Farmhouse.
Royston lives on site, will show you around on arrival and is generally available should you need him.
Getting around
There is ample private parking on site for a dozen cars. The property is very accessible - only the last 5 minutes of your journey will be off the national trunk routes. Whitland station is a 5 minute taxi ride away and has a regular service from Swansea, Cardiff and Manchester.
Other things to note
The house, pool and hot water are heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler, which ensures comfort throughout the year.
Family gatherings and celebrations, small corporate and hobby groups are welcome and we can help with arrangements if you want to arrange some catering or activities during your stay. However, regrettably we cannot accept pets or groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25.
